A Sound of Thunder reading journal

The Sound of Thunder,  By Rad Bradbury (1952)

Rating: 7/10

The time machine story and time travel story from Rad Bradbruy's `The sound of Thunder' was enough to intrigue me. Even though I think this is an interesting story, I rated this story 7. The story is not kind. This Bradbruy's short story does not explain in details to readers. This story must be renowned and rated as masterpiece if the story follows the perfect hero's journey and has well crafted causality since it has interesting story and comprises some theorems or phrases which changed the paradigm. The story introduces some phrases which are renown these days. I hadn't known that the phrase 'back to the future' or 'butterfly effect' was from this story.

The main character Eckels is not actually a hero, but a troll. He makes readers angry. He does not follow the instructions and, it causes changes in future: Time becomes Tyme; the president was changed to Deutscher. It was because Eckels had a butterfly on his foot, and it was dead after the time travel. And it was the outset of the 'Butterfly Effect'. I do not recommend this book to whom wants to read the masterpiece story but whom don't know how to kill time. (200 words)
